💨 Abstract
There are concerns that drug cartels may be using unmanned underwater drones, known as 'narco subs,' to smuggle drugs into UK waters. These submersibles, used effectively in South America, can carry large amounts of narcotics and are designed to evade detection. While there's currently no evidence of their use in the UK, experts believe it's plausible. The National Crime Agency is aware of this method but does not see it as a significant threat in the UK.
