💨 Abstract
An 18-year-old, Logan Smith, died after being Tasered by a police officer and subsequently hit by a car on the M5 motorway. The incident occurred when Smith exited an ambulance and entered the live lanes of the motorway. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is investigating the actions of the police and the use of the Taser.
