💨 Abstract

Sally McIlhone, a 40-year-old marketing manager, struggled with severe stress and depression due to personal tragedies and the demands of new parenthood. After years of resistance, she was prescribed sertraline, an antidepressant. Initially hesitant due to stigma, Sally found support online and decided to take the medication. Within weeks, she experienced significant improvement, feeling calmer and more in control. This change positively impacted her marriage, enhancing communication and intimacy.
