đ¨ Abstract
Japanese scientists found an asteroid, Ryugu, containing organic molecules essential for life, including the building blocks of DNA and RNA. These findings suggest that the ingredients for life may have been present in our solar system billions of years ago. The asteroid, a carbon-rich rock, is seen as a time capsule from the early solar system. While the discovery is significant, experts note that the presence of these molecules does not confirm the existence of life elsewhere.
