💨 Abstract
Scott Mills, a long-time BBC presenter, was dismissed from the BBC due to "personal conduct" issues. Mills, who was one of the highest-paid presenters, was investigated by police in 2018 over allegations of serious sexual offenses involving a teenage boy under 16, which occurred between 1997 and 2000. The BBC was aware of the investigation since 2017 but took action after receiving new information recently.
