Robinhood launched the Robinhood Ventures Fund I, allowing retail investors to invest in private companies like Databricks and Stripe. The fund raised $658.4 million, falling short of its $1 billion target. Shares debuted at $25 but closed at $21, a 16% decline. In contrast, Destiny Tech100, another fund with stakes in high-profile startups, saw a 33% premium on its first day.
