đź’¨ Abstract
Russia's Voronezh region, a significant grain and sugar beet farming area, has declared a state of emergency due to drought. The region, which is Russia's fifth-largest grain-producing area, expects a reduced harvest this year due to the drought. Despite extreme weather affecting many of its key grain-producing regions, Russia has maintained its official grain harvest forecast of 132 million tons.
