💨 Abstract
On May 7, 2025, heavy shelling in Poonch, India, caused significant damage to a gurdwara, a madrasa, a Catholic school, and numerous homes and vehicles. Sabar Singh, the head of the Gurdwara Sahib, miraculously saved the undamaged holy book, Guru Granth Sahib, before evacuating. The intense shelling, in response to Indian operations, prompted widespread civilian evacuation.
