💨 Abstract
Bolivia's constitutional court ruled on Wednesday that presidents cannot serve more than two terms, blocking former President Evo Morales from running in the upcoming elections. Morales, who has served three terms, argued his human rights were violated by the decision. He responded on X (formerly Twitter), stating only the people can ask him to withdraw. Current President Luis Arce, a former supporter of Morales, has declared he will not seek re-election.
