💨 Abstract
Colombia’s Senate voted down a referendum on President Gustavo Petro's labor reform, which aimed to improve worker conditions. The reform included an eight-hour workday, increased weekend and holiday pay, and social security for app drivers. Forty-nine senators opposed the referendum, while 47 supported it. However, the Senate agreed to revisit the previously rejected bill.
