💨 Abstract
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen criticized Hungary for jeopardizing European security by strengthening ties with Russia and China, particularly in regards to Hungary's reluctance to support Ukraine against Russia's invasion and its visa program for Russians and Chinese police presence in the country. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who has been in power since 2010, defended his government's actions and called for a ceasefire in Ukraine.
