Hezbollah and Hamas have escalated attacks against Israel, with Hezbollah targeting Haifa and Tiberias with missiles. Israel has responded with airstrikes in Lebanon, killing two soldiers and displacing 1.2 million people. Hamas vowed to "rise like a phoenix" despite heavy losses, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the aim is to ensure another attack like Oct. 7 does not happen again.
