đź’¨ Abstract
The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen accused the UAE of helping separatist leader Aidarous al-Zubaidi escape the country, escalating tensions between the two Gulf powers. Zubaidi, head of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), was reportedly taken by boat to Somaliland and then flown to Abu Dhabi. This move follows a power struggle in southern Yemen, where Saudi-backed forces are advancing in Aden.
