💨 Abstract
Sudan's UN ambassador accused the UAE of attacking Port Sudan on May 4 using warplanes and drones from an Emirati Red Sea base. The ambassador, al-Harith Idris, claimed the attack was retaliation for a May 3 Sudanese airstrike in Nyala that targeted a UAE warplane. That strike resulted in the death of 13 foreigners, including Emiratis, according to the ambassador.
