💨 Abstract
The Golden Acre shopping center in Cape Town's transport hub has been sold for R781 million to Putirex and 11 Adderley Properties, encompassing over 55,000m² of retail and office space. This transaction is one of the largest in the area in recent years. The new owners plan significant upgrades to revitalize the aging infrastructure and dated interiors, aiming to restore Golden Acre's status as a vibrant city landmark.
