💨 Abstract
Two social justice organizations, #PayTheGrants and the Institute for Economic Justice (IEJ), are taking the South Africa Social Security Agency (SASSA) to the Pretoria High Court, accusing it of acting unconstitutionally due to a high denial rate in grant applications. The organizations argue that the agency's database integration and strict verification process unfairly denies eligible people access to government grants.
