💨 Abstract
The Johannesburg Metro Police Department has introduced a new handheld traffic enforcement system to enhance the functionality of driving license cards in South Africa. This device, which appears to be the Honeywell ScanPal EDA52, allows officers to access driver and vehicle records, detect fraudulent cards, and pull traffic violation histories even during power outages or without network coverage.
