💨 Abstract
Gauteng is actively addressing faulty traffic lights to improve road safety and mobility. MEC Kedibone Diale-Tlabela highlighted ongoing efforts to restore vandalized intersections and strengthen maintenance. The department is procuring service providers to speed up repairs and prevent prolonged outages. Progress has been reported on the M43 (Atlas Road) and Rooihuiskraal/N14 off-ramp projects, though vandalism remains a challenge.
