Namibia is considering Starlink's entry into its broadband market amid debates over internet connectivity and regulation. The country struggles with slow and expensive internet, affecting work, study, and business. Starlink, owned by SpaceX, has applied to operate in Namibia and is ready to launch services once approved. The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) opened a public comment period until December 12, 2025.
