💨 Abstract
The City of Cape Town will close a section of Beach Road in the Strand from December 15, 2025, to January 15, 2026, due to ongoing seawall construction. The closure, affecting Mosterd’s Bay, aims to ensure safety during the holiday season. Traffic will be diverted, and the nearest swimming area will be near the Strand Surf Lifesaving Club.
