President Cyril Ramaphosa stated that Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo would be deeply troubled by the ongoing Middle East conflict. During the unveiling of their statues in Durban, Ramaphosa emphasized their commitment to peace and reconciliation, advocating for an immediate ceasefire and resolution through dialogue. South Africa has consistently called for diplomatic solutions in line with international law.
