💨 Abstract
Last night, a 68-year-old German tourist was rescued after falling about 10 meters on the Lion’s Head trail in Cape Town. Local hikers witnessed the incident, called emergency services, and provided first aid. The victim’s descent was initially aided by ropes and eventually via a stretcher, concluding the rescue at 21:30. Wilderness Search And Rescue (WSAR) praised the hikers' actions and reminded the public of the importance of mountain safety.
