đź’¨ Abstract
Former Springbok rugby player Adriaan Richter sold his 1995 World Cup winner's medal and other memorabilia due to financial hardship. The medal, presented by Nelson Mandela, sold for R62,500, and a trophy for R34,000. Richter, 59, struggles to find work and support his children, attributing his difficulties to age and racial discrimination.
