đź’¨ Abstract
The Washington D.C. housing market is slowing but remains competitive. In June, 35.7% of homes sold above the list price, though this is down from the previous year. The total number of homes on the market increased by 22.7% year-over-year, the highest gain since 2012. Pending sales were steady, but homes took longer to sell, averaging 36 days on the market.
