After a surge in juvenile crimes, Mayor Muriel Bowser proposed an 11 p.m. curfew for individuals aged 17 and younger in Washington D.C. The legislation aims to give police flexibility in curfew zones and times depending on the situation, following incidents of violence, property damage, and drug use by teenagers. if passed, the curfew would not start earlier than 7 p.m. or end later than 6 a.m.,
