💨 Abstract
A listeria outbreak linked to chicken fettuccine alfredo products from Kroger and Walmart has resulted in three deaths and one pregnancy loss, affecting 17 people across 13 states since August 2024. FreshRealm is recalling the affected products, which include specific Marketside and Home Chef trays with best-by dates before late June 2025. The CDC is investigating, and consumers are advised to discard or return the recalled items.
