💨 Abstract
Overnight, explosions in western Russia led to the collapse of two bridges and derailment of two trains. In the Bryansk region, a passenger train collapse resulted in seven deaths and dozens of injuries. Later, a freight train derailed in the Kursk region due to another explosion. No casualties were reported in the latter incident, but a fire erupted. Russia's Investigative Committee confirmed the bridges' collapses were due to explosions, but provided no further details.
