Florida has executed more people than any other state this year, with 3 set to die over next month -
💨 Abstract
Florida is set to execute three individuals, including Curtis Windom, by August 2025. Windom, convicted in 1992 for murdering three people and injuring one, will be executed on August 28. An increase in executions nationwide is attributed to Republican governors and Attorney Generals expediting appeals and President Donald Trump's executive order encouraging the death penalty. Eight executions have already occurred in Florida in 2025.
