💨 Abstract
Following a July shooting at a Manhattan office tower, the NFL is recommending enhanced security measures at all team and league facilities. The proposed changes include updated threat assessments, armed officers' presence, and weapons screening for entry. The shooting involved Shane Tamura, who had a history of mental illness and a grievance against the NFL regarding CTE. The recommendations will be reviewed at a special league meeting on August 26.
