💨 Abstract

The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, proposed during a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump a comprehensive agreement addressing security, migration, and commerce. Sheinbaum emphasized the need to recognize the contributions of Mexican families in the U.S. The secretary of the Mexican economy, Marcelo Ebrard, will travel to Washington to discuss these topics with U.S. officials. The proposed agreement is separate from the existing trade deal, T-MEC.
