💨 Abstract
Slovenian police are investigating the theft of a bronze Melania Trump statue from her hometown of Sevnica. The life-size sculpture, unveiled in 2020, replaced a wooden statue burned earlier that year. Police were notified on Tuesday and are working to find those responsible, who sawed off the statue at the ankles to remove it. The original wooden statue depicted Trump in a pale blue dress, while the bronze replica bears no clear resemblance to the First Lady.
