💨 Abstract
The State Historical Society of North Dakota installs flush toilets at Lawrence Welk's childhood home, part of a broader initiative to upgrade restrooms at its most popular sites. These upgrades aim to enhance visitor experiences despite the remote locations of many historical sites. The latest upgrade coincides with the unveiling of a Welk statue. Other planned upgrades include Whitestone Hill and Fort Buford, with the Chateau de Mores also under consideration.
