💨 Abstract
In southern Syria, intense clashes between Sunni Bedouin tribes and Druze militias resulted in over 600 deaths, including 80 civilians who were executed. A ceasefire was declared, but many Druze families returned to find their homes looted and loved ones missing. The violence has left the Druze community skeptical of Syria's new leadership and doubtful of peaceful coexistence.
