💨 Abstract
In Bosnia-Herzegovina, mountain resorts near Sarajevo are shifting focus from winter snow sports to summer tourism due to rising temperatures. These resorts, previously reliant on snow, are developing hiking, biking, and ATV trails to attract visitors seeking respite from the coastal heat. Despite slower growth compared to seaside destinations, this strategy aims to create year-round appeal and counteract climate change impacts. Both Bosnia and neighboring Croatia are pursuing similar objectives to extend their tourist seasons.
