💨 Abstract
A fourth heatwave is expected in London and the south-east, with temperatures reaching up to 30°C today and potentially mid-thirties tomorrow. The Met Office predicts this will last through Wednesday, meeting the criteria for an official heatwave. While much of the UK will experience high temperatures, north-west Scotland will see showers today with warmer weather expected tomorrow. Thunderstorms may also occur from late Wednesday into Thursday.
