💨 Abstract
Mark Gibbon, a 60-year-old from Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, attempted to drown his daughter-in-law, Jasmine Wyld, during a family holiday in Florida. The incident occurred at the Solterra Resort after an argument over a will. Gibbon's granddaughter tried to intervene but was pushed away. He pleaded guilty to battery, with more serious charges dropped. Wyld requested Gibbon's release, stating he had been punished enough.
