💨 Abstract

Comedians Marc Lottering and Anwar McKay survived Cyclone Gezani while on vacation in Mozambique. The cyclone, which also hit Madagascar, caused significant destruction and loss of life. The couple shared their experience on social media, joking about the ordeal but also expressing gratitude for their safety. Their rented house was damaged, but they were unharmed. The cyclone resulted in 59 deaths in Madagascar and 4 in Mozambique, with thousands displaced.
