💨 Abstract
The UK government is considering legislation to remove Prince Andrew from the line of succession following his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Andrew, currently eighth in line to the throne, was arrested on his 66th birthday and spent 11 hours in custody. King Charles III expressed support for the legal process, stating that the law must take its course. Andrew's daughter, Princess Beatrice, is ninth in line to the throne.
