đź’¨ Abstract
Former DA MP Renaldo Gouws and current Minister Gayton McKenzie both faced controversy for using the K-word, but Gouws was removed from his party while McKenzie faced no probe. Paradigm confirmed that McKenzie's old tweets were prior to his tenure as an MP, thus out of the ethics committee's scope. Gouws clarified that the DA, not Parliament, terminated his membership due to politically unacceptable old clips, despite the fact that the DA was aware of them.
