💨 Abstract

Iconic Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani passed away at age 93 in Rome on January 19, 2026. Known simply as Valentino, he had no children with his long-time partner Giancarlo Giammetti. Tributes flooded in from around the world. His funeral is scheduled for January 23 in Rome, with a lying in state at his company headquarters on January 21 and 22.
