đź’¨ Abstract
The City of Cape Town has approved a R50 million tidal pool project at Hout Bay Beach. Led by Sandy Daniel and the Feel Good Initiative, the project aims to create a safe, inclusive, and environmentally sensitive swimming space for underserved communities like Imizamo Yethu and Hangberg. The tidal pool will enhance ocean safety, support marine education, boost eco-tourism, and minimize environmental impact.
