💨 Abstract

A personal trainer at a Virgin Active gym in Cape Town, Stan Stamenov, was revealed to be an Interpol fugitive wanted for drug trafficking. Despite being listed on Interpol’s Red Notice, Stamenov worked as a senior personal trainer until recently. The gym confirmed his suspension and is investigating the matter. Stamenov's name also surfaced in connection with a murder case. The incident raises questions about background checks and employer responsibility for independent contractors.
