💨 Abstract
South African wheelchair tennis player Kgothatso Montjane celebrated her 39th birthday with a first-round win at Roland-Garros, defeating Chile’s Macarena Cabrillana 6-3, 6-3. Despite equipment issues with her wheelchair and challenging windy conditions, Montjane secured the victory but noted areas for improvement. She will face fourth seed Ziying Wang of China in the quarterfinals.
