💨 Abstract
Tommy Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, will be released from prison early after his 18-month contempt of court sentence was reduced by four months. Robinson, a far-right activist, was jailed for repeatedly breaching a court order by spreading false claims about a Syrian refugee, Jamal Hijazi. He was held in segregation due to safety threats. Despite his lawyers' arguments, the Solicitor General opposed the sentence reduction, citing no grounds for it.
