💨 Abstract
Kosovo war veterans protested in Pristina against the EU-backed tribunal prosecuting former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leaders, accusing the court of bias. Thousands supported arrested KLA figures, who face charges of war crimes. Since 2020, four top KLA leaders, including former President Hashim Thaci, are in custody. The EU court investigated the KLA following a 2011 report on alleged human rights abuses.
