💨 Abstract
A wildfire has destroyed a historic lodge and closed the North Rim of the Grand Canyon for the season. The Grand Canyon, a vast park spanning about 1,900 square miles in Arizona, is known for its deep and wide canyon walls, which are a mile deep on average. The North Rim, usually open from May to mid-October, offers a quieter experience compared to the South Rim, which is open year-round.
