đź’¨ Abstract
Scientists are investigating mysterious radio signals detected in Antarctica over the past decade. These signals, picked up by NASA's ANITA experiment, seem to have traveled through thousands of miles of rock, which should have absorbed them. The signals' origin remains unclear, and follow-up studies, including one by the Pierre Auger Observatory, have not replicated the findings. The signals' steep angles suggest they couldn't be neutrinos, as currently understood.
