Bolt has condemned the recent violence against e-hailing drivers in Soweto, where one driver was killed and two injured in an attack. The company expressed concern over the safety of its drivers and called for police action. Senior General Manager Lerato Mostoeneng emphasized the need to protect those earning an honest living. Bolt is collaborating with authorities to enhance safety measures in high-risk areas. Police are investigating the incident, reported as murder, attempted murder, and arson.
