đź’¨ Abstract
All flights to St. Helena have been suspended after its airport was downgraded from Category 6 to Category 4 due to safety concerns, specifically issues with the airport’s fire tenders. This downgrade means that commercial flights, including those operated by Airlink, cannot operate until the airport's emergency response capabilities are restored. The island, heavily reliant on air links for tourism and essential supplies, is now cut off from regular air access.
