💨 Abstract
In Ballymena, Northern Ireland, anti-immigrant protests turned violent for the second night, with demonstrators attacking police and setting vehicles on fire. Police responded with water cannons and baton rounds. The unrest began after a march supporting a family of a sexual assault victim, with two 14-year-old boys charged in the case. Fifteen police officers were injured amid ongoing efforts to identify and arrest those responsible. Authorities condemn the racially motivated disorder.
